This is the original but revised book by Mike Hendrickson, written in a very conversational style, explaining many intricacies of assembling wheels, but mainly the fitting of tyres. At the back is a chapter on using a rubber-tyring machine, as well as the setting up of the West's Patent Cold Tyre Setting machine which now operates at Sovereign Hill, Vic. If you are interested in wheelwrighting, this is a book worth having! They are a good complementary pair, together. |
